Rheumatology Apt. Prescribed Cyclobenzaprine 5mg 2-3 weeks for joint pain and sleep. Korie asked for clarification around the medication’s purpose.
Muscle relaxer that works on CNS to relax muscles. Does not work directly on joints but rather on muscles which may ease joint pain. Drowsiness is a possible side effect but the medication is not approved as a sleep aid.
Labs drawn and urine sample collected, follow up scheduled for 10.28.2026. Korie has decided not to go forward with taking the prescription.
